Welcome to my little corner of the internet.
Growing up, I used to get lost in make-believe worlds for hours on end, devouring library books and writing countless stories of my own. Hockey Night in Canada was must-see TV in our household, converting me to a lifelong devotee of the sport, and eventually, I decided to combine two of my favorite things by writing my first sports romance. My novels center around banter and tension, swoon-worthy moments, cocky heroes who are unexpectedly tender, as well as a guaranteed happily ever after. Drawing on my own lived experiences, such as themes of ADHD and anxiety in "Shutout," is one of my favorite aspects of storytelling, and there's nothing quite like hearing from readers that my stories made them feel seen.
Originally from a small town in northern Alberta, I now live in Edmonton with my husband, two sons, and two spoiled rescue cats who have a knack for hopping on my keyboard at inconvenient moments. They seem to think they’re helping me draft, but the results say otherwise. Aside from being an author, I'm a hopeless coffee addict and have recently become a devoted Peloton superfan. I have a slight addiction to high-end skincare, love all things pink and purple, and believe firmly dark chocolate should be considered a food group. I’ll never turn down sushi or Thai food, especially during a deadline. When I'm not in the writing cave, you'll likely find me nestled with a book and an oversized mug of coffee, or relishing the beauty of the great Canadian outdoors.
Reality television is my guilty pleasure, and I watch every season of The Bachelor
My favorite movie is Legally Blonde
Chase Carter is loosely based on my own husband
I’m a lefty, which can make signing things a challenge (hello smudging!)
